A gang of Hindus attacks a lone Sikh man

:datelne:Delhi High Court has deferred the bail plea of Sajjan Kumar’s two main associates who are serving life sentences for their accusation in the Sikh Genocide of November 1984.  Balwan Khokhar and Girdhari Lal were sentenced to life imprisonment for their roles in killings of Sikhs in New Delhi.
Sikh24 has learned that the advocate of Balwan Khokhar had filed an appeal for bail.  Khokhar is facing some injuries for which he is being treated in the Tihar Jail.  His advocated had sought treatment outside of jail.
A bench of Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice Ashutosh Kumar stated that they are still going through the evidence collected in the court hearings, therefore a bail couldn’t be granted yesterday.  The plea will once again be heard on April 22 after Tihar Jail doctors submit their report on injures sustained by Khokhar.
In 2013, five associates of Sajjan Kumar – Balwan Khokhar, Captain Bhagmal, Girdhari Lal, former MLA Mahender Yadav, and Balwan’s brother, Krishan Khokhar, were held guilty of killing Sikhs.  Sajjan Kumar was acquitted of all charges in the murder of five Sikhs in the Raj Nagar area of Delhi Cantonment in a 1984 anti-Sikh Pogroms case.
