General Secretary of gurdwara Guru Amar Das Ji, Leicester refutes information on the  UK Welcomes Modi web site that the gurdwara has agreed to become a welcome partner
London, UK (September, 2015)—Following the Sikh Federation (UK) Press Release Sukhdev Singh Sangha, the General Secretary of Gurdwara Guru Amar Das Ji in Leicester has contacted Gurjeet Singh, the National Press Secretary of the Sikh Federation (UK) and is adamant that the management of the Gurdwara has not agreed to become a welcome partner for Modi’s reception on Friday 13 November.
“We predicted this may happen in some cases in our Press Release and said we would share this information on social media.  However, the Gurdwara and any others who think their name has been incorrectly used by Europe India Forum (EIF) should contact them to have their names removed from the UK Welcomes Modi web site.” said Gurjeet Singh from the federation.
