ਮੈਂ ਸਦਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪੀਨਲ ਕੋਡ ਵਿੱਚ 295 AA ਧਾਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਨੂੰੰ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਉਮਰ ਕੈਦ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਕਦਮ ਨਾਲ ਯਕੀਨਨ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਰਤੀ ਅਨਸਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਰ ਬੈਠੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਨਾਪਾਕਿ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਟ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਹੈ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਹਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੂਹਾਨੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਕਰੇ ਇਹ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਦੀਂ ਬਰਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ।
I appreciate the house for adding section 295 AA in the Indian Penal Code and enhancement of punishment to life imprisonment for sacrilege of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This move will help create fear in the perpetrators and will avert them to do any such humiliating act. This is the victory of all the Sikhs. Laws are being misused openly in India as personally experienced since long and recently faced such penal laws personally also.
And these type of Laws, if allowed and demanded to be enacted, would be further more misused and prove punitive- severe against the common people only at the instance of even Sikh rulers and in connivance with such rulers by the cruel state machinery vindictively as happening in India against the spirit of RULE OF LAW.
