By now, The Sikh Diaspora must have known that in accordance with The Sikh Gurdwaras Act 1925, Jurisdiction of the SGPC, its Head Ministers and other Officials is restricted within Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana only. Hence, the Sikhs residing abroad or in other States of India are not bound by any instructions or rules by any Indian Authority. We should continue to obey the Shabd- Guru as enshrined in the Guru Granth Sahib from The Commencing Verse to Mundavani at pages 1 to 1429, plus to follow the Guru’s Teachings as olden days Sikhs were doing for (475) years i.e. from 1469 to 1944 CE.
