Diwali - A triamph of Lesser Evil over Bigger Evil.
This year it has been observed the Hindus in GTA at their Diwali Festivities making repeated statements about ,"Diwali is a Triumph of Good over Evil", but in reality 'Diwali as a Triumph of Lesser Evil over a Bigger Evil appears to be more appropriate slogan. Because on both sides Kings were fighting over Two Ladies and killing thousands of innocent armies in the process.
As the storey is related,Rawan was a great Scholar of Vedas and worshipper of Shiv ji as was Ram Chandar whose brother Lakhshman Cut off the NOSE of Sarup Nakha-Sister of Rawan.In revenge Rawan abducted Ram's wife Sita posing as a saint beggar. The whole storey is briefly described in Gurbani on page 953-954 M3: Sahansar Daan Dai Indar Roaiya...Rivai Ram Nikala bhaia, Sita Lakhman Vichhuird Gaiya .... Rovao Dehsir Lank Gavaiai Jin Sita aadee Dauru Vaaie Its a long Sabd concluding as " Nanak Dukheeia Sabh Sansar. Just briefly the English translation of parts of these verses [ Indira wept, receiving punishment as a thousand marks of Vulva over his body......Rama wept when he was exiled and got separated from Sita and Lakhman..... Ten-headed Rawan Wept when he lost Lanka (Ceylon Island) ,who abducted Sita beating a tambourine as a beggar.....Nana says, "the whole world is in distress.]
Guru Granth Sahib Ji page 1344 M 1: Guru Nanak Sahib described the character of god Indra. " Gotam Tapa Ahahiliya Istree Tisy Daikh Indar Lubhiya. Sahas Sareer Chihn Bhug Huai Ta Man Pachhotaiya. [ Glancing at Ahaliya - wife of Gotam penitent, got  infatuated, and regretted when he got thousand marks of Vulva over his body.
There are all kinds of stories of Hindu gods and goddesses  that are quite intriguing and are part of Hindu festivals describing "Triumph of Evil over Good" But it is strange that after thousand of years of burning the Putla - (Dummy) of Rawana each year the EVIL of Serial Genocides in India continue unabated ! Let us not follow the Bhed-Chaal (Sheep's Beat) followed by the RSS in the name of Diwali.
As per Bikrami Calendar Followed by RSS and their collaborators sitting at Darbar Sahib,Amritsar, and various Deras Walas who are trying to mix up ( RAL GADD) the Bandi-Chhod Day with their Diwali, was celebrated by Jathedars on 30 October as per Bikrami Calendar. Sikhs must not follow the HYPOCRISY of those who fraudulently murdered the NANAKSHAHI CALENDAR in 2010.
In the attached "pd pages 644 & 645  where term (o.s. indicating old style is in fact Julian Calendar of Pope Julius that was reformed by Pope Gregory as the old method of counting days in a year was defective just like Bikrami Calendar where the celebrating of important dates was drifting into off seasons, defeating the true meaning of keeping time on time as per the movement of stars and planets.Although, a few countries in Europe adopted the New Common Era Calendar quite reluctantly and  England even took two centuries, eventually  bowing their heads to Common Era Calendar.After that Russia ,Japan etc and now almost whole world follow Common era Calendar and each independent Nation of the world are proudly following their own Calendars that are also in syn with the Common Era Calendar. 
In the Sikh Nanakshahi Calendar 2003, majority of the dates were fixed in accordance with the Accurate Sikh History and Gurbani of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji with the exception of three dates, one being "Bandi Chhord Day"  was recommended to the Special Calendar Committee formed by SGPC as 27 January,1620, of then prevalent Julian Calendar was the closest to the actual time. Based on this factual evidence the historical date would be 1st Phagun or 27 January,1620 Julian that falls exactly on 1st Phagun which is 12 February of Common Era Calendar.. The dilemma was whether to accept the date Guru Sahib was freed from Gwalior Jail or The date that They arrived at Darbar Sahib ? The date they Arrived at Darbar Sahib was was 1st Phagun that was 12 February, which was 27 October as per Old JULIAN Calendar. abd 12 February is the most appropriate date.
Similarly, Guru Nanak Sahib Ji's Parkash always fall on 14 April Waisakhi, and Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Parkash is always on 5th January each year, all time to come.Lets not forget the Great and extreme Sacrifices made by Guru Sahibs and their Sikhs to get rid of the stranglehold of Superstitions of Brahmanism/Hinduism and Muslim forces on the Indian Subcontinent mired in ignorance about TRUTH.
Many people make arguments abut "tradition" when Guru Sahibs freed Sikhs from following the  False Rituals and traditions. We hope that INSTEAD OF LIGHTING "MITTI DAI DEEVAI" SIKHS LIGHT UP THE DIVA OF GURBANI GIAN IN OUR MINDS THAT WAS GIVEN TO SIKH WITH THE LOVE OF ETERNAL ONE.
