The Fraudulent-Deceitful Practices of the Bank Officials in Exchanging Old Notes
By: Balbir Singh Sooch-Sikh Vichar Manch
1. What does it imply when the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) asks banks to take stern action against officials involved in fraudulent-deceitful practices in exchanging old Rs 500/1,000 notes?
2. Does it not mean that old Rs 500/1,000 notes-black money already stand exchanged fraudulently-deceitfully?
3. Do the fraudulent-deceitful practices of the Bank officials in exchanging old Rs 500/1,000 notes not mean that the black-money of the influential business etc has already converted into Rs 2000 notes of currency as a black money only by the fraudulent-deceitful practices as said?
4. Who can check about the real-estate as Benami properties (the properties which are purchased in the name of others (benami)- of any individuals-corporate etc from the revenue record, that’s only in the knowledge of Halqa Patwaris and other petty revenue officials?
5. Similarly, who have guts to question, check and or to take stern action against officials involved in fraudulent-deceitful practices in exchanging old Rs 500/1,000 notes and the Benami properties (the properties which are purchased in the name of others (benami)- of any individuals-corporate etc from the revenue record, that’s only in the knowledge of Halqa Patwaris and other petty revenue officials?
6. Only the expert economists can have better answers than all of us, common people of India about working pattern of Banks in India and also must be in the knowledge of chief of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as to how the officials involved in fraudulent-deceitful practices are obliged-gifted by the corrupts in India and similarly the Collectors concerned supposed to know, but lagging behind knowingly and or innocently about the function of Halqa Patwaris and other petty revenue officials.
Another important issue, the illiteracy and corruption in politics in India is related and very likely and to be responsible for the failure of demonitisation scheme:
7. That’s why no serious-clear stand visible of the opposition about demonitisation only has and as lip-service expressing its misgivings-doubts-fears-suspicions-worries-uncertainties about the demonitisation except the CM Arvind Kejriwal proving that the demonitisation is “Independent India's biggest scam - a scam worth Rs 8 lakh crore” as being reported so far.
8. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, addressing the rally earlier also said the government's decision had led to economic instability in the country. "What did they say? Achche din (good days) are coming. Is this achche din?" she asked, taking a jibe at Modi's slogans that his government would bring in better times for India. "Truckers tell me they don't have money to pay drivers. Trucks are the lifeline of the nation. What will happen if trucks stop running and mandis stop getting vegetables and fruits? "What will people eat? Diamonds? ATMs? What kind of a joke is this? There is no money for people to buy food, baby food, medicines? What will farmers do?" she asked, adding the situation was not this bad even during the 1975-77 Emergency period. The Trinamool Congress chief said she supported the government's move to curb black money but won't let the mayhem continue in the name of fighting corruption. "If in three days you don’t withdraw, we will step up our protests.
"9. Anyone who now speaks against this illiterate government is now anti-nationals, as they are commenting and asking being more alert citizen of India:
(ii) Mr. PM Modi are you saying little in-convenience?
(iii) Some of your favorites, who have been allowed to flee the country by duping Indian banks with the hard earned money of common people!
(iv) Anyone who now speaks against this illiterate government is now anti-national.
(v) 90% of the black money lies with politicians and bureaucrats which is already in foreign lands.
(vi) The remaining is in form of lands and gold and a small component is in form of cash.
(vii) But why trouble the entire public especially farmers and labor class and after standing in queues for so long, will they be the victorious ones?
(viii) The 2000 rupee note on the other and will only make black money carrying so much easier.
Thus, it is obvious and rightly said by an expert economist, Mr. S. Subramanian that, ‘The demonetisation stunt: Drama as farce-mockery, circus, and disgrace’. (Refer an article: ‘The demonetisation stunt: Drama as farce’ by an expert economist, Mr. S. Subramanian;
