the unity shown by the Sikhs have been exhibited in the most successful celebration held in Patna Sahib on the 350th  Birthday of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. No group tried to bring their Politics.
The Sikh community gained respect through these functions.
Chief Minister of Bihar is to get the credit.

Thank you, Sardar Tarlochan Singh Ji for updating us on the Patna celebration. We live far away and need such information periodically and you always take the time to meet this need of the community. I also thank you for inviting me personally to come to India for these celebrations. I humbly declined because of difficulties in undertaking distant travels at my age.
The Patna celebration was indeed impressive. I trust that the enthusiasms shown there will move forward with projects that continue producing results for some time to come. With you being involved, I am sure that the enthusiasm shown at Patna will continue in the shape of future projects to propagate and implement the lessons from the life history of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Yes, Modi Ji and the Chief Minister of Bihar spent an impressive amount of resources that should bring the attention of everyone in India towards Guru’s contributions and his teachings. Modi ji’s pride and claim that whole of Bharat is Guru’s follower is fit for taken in at its face value by our leadership,
acknowledged and implemented. I am sure you will take these messages and run with them towards guiding Sikh leadership towards implementation in the coming future.

Tarlochan Singh Ji ,
I hope the Sikh would take equal care of other Historic Gurdwaras around Patna Sahib also !( see attached) Although politicians make big show of certain things but when it comes to implementation it is a different story.! It had been more than five centuries that Guru Sahib implemented the EQUALITY of all regardless of caste or religion, but it was Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji and his Sikhs who faces the largest opposition from Hindu Rajput Hilly Chiefs mainly on the basis of "Caste Superiority" The first battle of "Bhangani" was with those Hindu Hilly Chiefs who collaborated with Mogul Rulers all along to fight against Sikh Forces. All the low alleged low caste BHAGATS, from Kabir Sahib,Namdev to Ravidas Sahib,Sadna Ji were all given equal place in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, but still the self acclaimed high Castes find it hard to accept the EQUALITY of all and oppress minorities at every step, to this day ! Its not the "ADAMBAR" ( Pomposity, or Ostentation) that is displayed at a particular event or place that matters. The political rhetoric are common place on such occasions. The Dera Wala LUTERAS were at the centre stage there to mislead. In Reality there is hardly much that we learn from such celebrations.I have no intention of criticism here, but some thoughts to be expressed were order here.
The Jathedars under the boot of politicians are DERELICTS IN THEIR DUTIES to favour those who shower money and praises on them, and side line the Real message of GURBANI and the EXTREME SACRIFICES MADE BY GURU GOBIND SINGH SAHIB JI who told us ,
" MANAS KI JAAT SABHAI EIKAI PEHCHANBO " And EIK PITA EIKES KAI HAM BARAK...."

Ajit Singh.
