ਭਗਤ ਪੁਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਕੋਂਣ ਸਨ?
ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਯੋਗ ਪੁਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਭਗਤ ਪੁਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ।ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਨ 1979 ਪਦਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਦਾ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 1984 ਦੇ ਸਾਕੇ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਵਾਪਸ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਉਹ ਇਕ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਜਨਮੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੂਨ 1904 ਵਿਚ ਜਨਮੇ ਰਾਮ ਜੀ ਦਾਸ ਸੰਨ 1923 ਵਿਚ ਖੰਡੇ ਦਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛੱਕ ਕੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਜਦੇ ਸ. ਪੂਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਣ ਗਏ!ਉਹ ਇਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਨ!
ਪੂਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਲਈ ਫ਼ਖਰ ਹੀ ਹਨ! ਇਹ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਕੋਚ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਰ ਕੁੱਝ ਸੱਜਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਥਿਯੂਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਮਰਿਆਦਤ ਸਿੱਖ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਤਨੇਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਣਿਆਂ/ ਰਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਪੜਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਭਗਤ ਪੁਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ‘ਫ਼ਖਰੇ ਕੋੰਮ’ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਏ?
ਕੀ ਸੰਨ 1923 ਵਿਚ ਖੰਡੇ ਦਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛੱਕ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਰਾਮ ਜੀ ਦਾਸ, ‘ਹਿੰਦੂ’ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣੇ ਸੀ , ਬਲਕਿ ਹਿੰਦੂ hI rih gey ਸੀ?
