    It is most kind of you to comment on the forwarded e-mail below with such profound understanding and grasp of the subject.    
    Such knowledge that I see in your writing is not just for a few individuals but ought to be widely disseminated to raise awareness of the Sikhs in general.
    The Sikhs in general are IGNORANT hence afraid and confused since "KNOWLEDGE IS STRENGTH."   
    The situation could be bright if the LEADERS had the spark & grasp that I see in your e-mail. But when the leaders like BOOTA SINGH, ZAIL SINGH, KPS GILL, PS BADAL AND Capt. AMARINDER SINGH reach the TOP to do utmost damage to the Sikh community, one ends up in despair, saying, "God help the Sikhs!"    
    The KEY to recovery is EDUCATION but it is now obvious that the leaders & rulers are AFRAID of educated electorate. Hence Education is relegated to the back row and we see IGNORANCE prevailing with the result that wrong rulers are elected who have no idea of the mighty POWERS AT PLAY around, and on top, that result in big upheavals like Partition, Drugs, Crime, Bollywood role models, alienation from spiritual roots, proliferation of "deras, sects and babas",  and so on.    
    I think we both are NRI's with limited access to the people of Punjab at large and even less reach to the new Captain of Destiny at Chandigarh.
         We just have to carry on bringing out facts that may help the Sikhs as a community, and the youth in particular, to develop the discussion further.

 Thank you for your Truthful Observations & response on my brief comments on the issue of Freedoms of People specially the minorities. The True definition of Democracy must not be Crowd Crazy or Suffrage but how a majority treat the minorities in a land. The "Khalistan is the Freedoms of Sikh Nation" and that is Absolutely Essential in accordance with Gurbani Teachings that teach us "SIKHI SIKHIA GUR VICHAAR...". Therefore, is no second thought on that issue by any True Sikh dedicated to the Gurbani Aim of, "SARBAT DA BHALA, and EQUALITY OF ALL".
However, while the Sikhs abiding the Gurbani message were sacrificing their lives and everything for the stated aims, the Ruling British, the Hindutva and Muslim League were working for heir own narrow self interests, leaving the Sikh Nation out from the transparent decision making and bribed a few self styled so called Sikh leaders who betrayed the Sikh Nation's Rights with fake Hippocratic promises as their ancestors did in the past.
The Hilly Hindu Chiefs imprisoned in the Gwalior by Jahangir were got released by Guru Hargobind Singh Sahib Ji. The very progeny of those Hindu chiefs complained against Guru Sahib and joined the army of Aurangzeb to encircle the Fort Anandpur Sahib. They even took Hippocratic oath on the COW and Muslims on QURAN only to betray and attack Sikh as soon as they empty the fort. The Hypocrisy of M.K Gandhi and J.L Nehru is well established in Historical books that were quoted many times.
Here when I refer to past it means when the British betrayed the treaty they signed with Maharaja Ranjit Singh, and collaborating with Hindu Dogra snakes within administration, to join hands with British to swallow the Sikh Empire, and in 1947 running and rushing of British to save their lives and putting the Indian Subcontinent, specially the Land of Five Rivers in Turmoil and Civil war. The other parties like Hindutva and Muslim League divided the spoils among themselves.Right immediately in 1961 the Hindus of Punjab divorced their "Mother Tongue Punjabi" to own Hindi and its dead mother Sanskrit that they even do not understand  In the Pakistan side majority spoke Punjabi but made Urdu as their state language. There is hardly significant difference between Hindi ( sanskritised Urdu, Persian etc during Mogul rule),  and  Urdu ( Hindianized Persian).
About 40 years ago I had the opportunity to visit a Desi Grocery shop in Toronto who was also selling "Song Records". The shop owner was a Pakistani Muslim. I was there to buy a record of song sung by RESHMA. As the owner was speaking in Urdu with their customers, but looking at me he started speaking in Punjabi. I asked him he is from Pakistan, but how come he is speaking Punjabi. He became very much emotional and said, " Sardarji I am from Lahore ,Pakistani Punjab ! where we do everything in Punjabi, we walk in Punjabi, we talk in Punjabi, we eat in Punjabi, we laugh and weep in Punjabi,we Poo and Pee (Excrete) in Punjabi, Our whole life there is Punjabi". The shop keeper hugged me and we talked some more before departing.
After the 1947 its not only disowning the Punjabi Mother Tongue of Punjab,and  but the Indira and Rajiv further subdivided the remaining half of Punjab into Himanchal and Haryanna Robbing the Punjab not only their land but also looting the Hydro and Waters of Punjab to the non-riparian robbers. To add insult to grievous injury they attacked Darbar Sahib and all the Gurdwaras in Punjab followed by Decade long Genocide of Sikh Nation. Today, Punjab is left BANKRUPT - The Punjab that was prosperous and fed the rest of India with grain and foods i addition to defending the land against external aggressions.The traitors as Congress politicians and Punjab police alike, helped by Congress and Hindutva in the Centre with illegitimate use of Indian Army and Air force,they all became the EVIL BUTCHERS OF PUNJAB.
The rest of the remaining Voices for freedom were silenced by the Akalies of Badals spreading Gunda-Gardi in the Land of Guru Sahibs and Sikh Warriors. All these Evil forces effectively Suppressed the Voices of Freedom that is the most Basic Right of Sikh Nation.
All the above mentioned Oppressors were actively Supported by the Dera Walas and their Sampardas who enjoyed a hay day with their loot of weakened Punjabies. The Loot of Punjab and the distortions of Gurbani and real Sikh History is continuing as a crusade by these Evil Derawalas who have spread in Punjab just like the CANCER.
Immediately after the GOI's Army attack on Darbar Sahib and all Sikh Gurdwaras in Punjab (followed by decade long GENOCIDE of Sikhs) Indira & Rajiv Gandhi employed all the diplomatic missions in all the countries to malign Sikhs and crookedly label them as terrorist, the Sikh Organized themselves worldwide to educate the Public,media and governments at all levels to expose the State Terrorism of The Indian Government against the Sikhs. At that time Sikhs discussed the steps that are required to be taken, and prepared the agenda to defeat the Evil Propaganda by the GOI and also raise the Suppressed Voice of Freedoms of The Sikhs in Punjab. After deep deliberations  and advice from the legal minds it was decided that the only answer to stop the Genocide and Continued Oppression of Sikhs in Punjab to support their Freedoms. At that time Sikhs realized that i Freedoms are to be respected then Voices for Freedoms of the Sikhs in Punjab,therefore, have to be supported by raising the Voices of those who have been Brutally Silenced by The GOI and government in Punjab. In order to support the voices of the oppressed , one of the objective was added to the work of Sikh organizations outside India and Punjab. The wording of that one objective (among others) was as follows:
"To strive through peaceful means, for the establishment of a Sikh Nation, KHALISTAN, in order to protect the Sikh identity and faith as ordained by the Guru Panth in the daily prayer 'RAJ KAREGA KHALSA'.
In this objective the word 'Peaceful' was specifically written to distinguish the Sikh struggle for FREEDOM, JUSTICE & DIGNITY, unlike the Evil State Terrorism let loose on Sikhs by the government of India and their toadies.When the GOI complained to Government of Canada pressing the visiting foreign minster of Canada (Mr. Joe Clark who went to attend Indira's funeral in Delhi). Upon his return he wrote a secret letter to all the Provincial Premiers ordering them "Not to attend the meetings arranged by Sikh Organizations in Canada illegally labelling them as "terrorists" just because Rajiv Gandhi told him so. The Secret letter of Mr. Joe Clark was unearthed by one Sikh Organization and objected to this wrongful labelling.of Sikh Organizations in Canada. Immediately Mr.Clark was taken to the task in the House of Commons, when a full day Debate happened in the House of Commons at Ottawa (See House of Commons Debate of 10 March, 1988). Mr. Joe Clark had no clear response except to say that this was affecting the trade & bilateral relations with India. All the MPs defended and Supported the Right of Sikh Organizations to Express their views on Khalistan -The Freedom of Sikhs. They mentioned many historical data on Freedoms in other countries.They further questioned Mr.Clark,"Whether he is a foreign minister of Canada or that of India ? Mr. Clark was dragged into several House Committee meetings and after that he shut down by the Sikhs and his Conservative  Party lost almost all seats in the forthcoming elections.
In addition to Traitors in Punjab and India, there are many Traitors who claim themselves as Sikhs who sting us at every chance they get, because their bosses in India load them with lot of favours there. Today, Sikhs are proud of Harjit Singh Sajjan -The Defence Minster of Canada visiting India,when the Capt.Amrinder made Stupid remarks. Going back to the nomination of Sardar Sajjan for Liberal Party Seat in Vancouver, it were the Traitors who  tried their all to bar the nomination of Sardar Sajjan. Sikhs are used to face obstructions at every moment the traitors get.
Sometimes,when I get messages on my Internet mail, I just try to make comments to the best of my knowledge. I do not belong to any of the Internet discussion groups. Once in a while I write my comments and bcc some to a few addresses that are floating around on the Internet. I can not know which people are on those addresses. If I get any messages that I do not like I just push the DELETE button. I suggest the same to my friends if they do not like my comments. the topic of Freedom of Sikh Nation is a serious one and will continue to be raised often until Sikhs fulfill The Message of Gurbani that "A Sikh is a Free Person if it has to abide by the message of Gurbani. A slave can not be free to practice a faith where Truth is Supreme.
The Freedom of Sikh Nation eventually is a must and India has to come to the Right path sooner or later to grant Freedom to the Sikhs, if they want to preserve their own freedoms in the end. They must recognize their history that " Historically India was never a Country, but a  Subcontinent with many many separate and competing jurisdictions Some of it was put together by the Mogul and British, and Portuguese invaders over centuries..
If the Hindus really want to keep this fractured land together, there is only one alternative.and that is to make India a Federation Republic where only the Defense,Finance and Transport is under the centre, and all other areas comes under Provincial Jurisdictions  ! It is a discussion that will continue until the Final Victory of The Truth. A Sikh always exist in  WAHEGURU 'S HUKAM AND CHARDIKALA .
