‘Marshal of the Indian Air Force Arjan Singh (15 April 1919 – 16 September 2017) was an Indian Air Force marshal who served as Chief of the Air Staff from 1964 to 1969.
He was Lieutenant Governor of Delhi from 1989 to 1990. In 2002, he became the first and only officer of the Indian Air Force to be promoted to five-star rank as Marshal of the Indian Air Force, equal to the army rank of Field Marshal’ From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
He would always be remembered as one of the exceptional Sikhs, was on Earth.
Myself as an Airman in Indian Air Force (18 April 1968 to 29 February 1984) heard always praise for him as he was known as being very cool, brave, humanitarian and outstanding personality.

Comment;- I feel very proud to be a Neighbour of such grate Person for more than 50 years at U.P. Jafrabad, adjoining to Chandian Farm, the Farm of Air Chief Marshal Arjan Singh.
