2. The top court actually represented the division of opinion in India over the polarising policies of premier Modi. 'The verdict would damage the devious plans of the Modi government with regards to Kashmir' Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said
3. The Supreme Court on Monday directed the Centre to ensure that normalcy be restored in Jammu and Kashmir and added that the restoration should be on selective basis keeping in mind national interest.
4. "Restoring normalcy means that the curfew should be lifted and communications to the Valley restored," elaborated the minister, saying the verdict would damage the devious plans of the Modi government with regards to Kashmir.
5. Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the verdict passed by the top court actually represented the division of opinion in India over the polarising policies of premier Modi.

(i) ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵੱਖੋ-ਵੱਖਰੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਚਰਚਾ ਚੱਲਦੀ ਰਹਿਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
(vi) ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਸੋਚ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਗੱਲ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹੋਣਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਇੱਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣਨ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਹੋਣੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ।
