JAMMU, India (November 5, 2014)—The National Sikh Front, Jammu, organized a Candle March in Kunjwani Chowk against the 1984 Sikh genocide, in which a huge number of Sikh devotees participated.
Addressing the Sikhs, Chairman S. Varinderjit Singh said that Government’s decision of giving financial compensation to the victims is appreciable, but the wounds of victims cannot be healed without punishing the accused culprits of this genocide. He said that every Government till now remained hesitant in punishing the accused culprits, which depicts the poor treatment of Sikhs in India.
