Haridwar Uttrakhand Police arrested Sardar Gurucharan Singh Babbar along with many Prominent Sikh leaders today early morning at 4.00 A.M. at Haridwar Jwalapur Subzi Mandi forcefully, illegally. The Sikh are not allowed to celebrate the Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj Ji at Gurdwara Sri Gyan Godri Saheb at Haridwar ‘Har ki Pauri’.  Hundreds of Childred, Ladies and Old People have also been detained by Police.

This is what happened with AISSF President Karnail Singh in Punjab, and Uttrakhand is no way different. It was bound to happen but March Leaders do it for popularity sake so as to claim that they went to jail.

Subject: RE: Handbill: Gurduara Gian Godri, Hardwar !
In 1984 Gurduara Sahib was demolished where shops had been constructed by UP Govt. On 6th December 1992, Babri Masjid in Ayodhya was destroyed by the Hindus.
  Why Sikhs remained sleeping ? Was there no Sikh to look after Guru Granth Sahib and its building?
 Now UP/UKh Govt. will arrest you as Punjab Govt. has been doing in Punjab.
Please try to resolve this issue with skills rather than agitation that too when you are not the resident of that place.
