 Initiative  for  UNITY
Respected Khalsa Parvinder Singh jee,
Waheguru jee ka Khalsa  Waheguru jee kee Fateh
Thanks a lot for taking this initiative for UNITY amongst the Sikh Leaders and Dealers both Political and Religious Wings.
As I understand, seed of disunity was sown in 1715 when Bhai Binod Singh departed company with Bahadur Banda Singh!
Even during Raj of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the Sikhs could not unite under the banner of Five Dear Ones but after his death his family Raj collapsed within ten years (1839-1849), though we continue to condemn the Dogras, Poorbias and British Rulers. After the enactment of The Gurdwaras Act 1925, despite initial Unity, at the very next SGPC election, brother became enemy of other brother and this trend becomes more strong from 1952 Indian Elections. Now look, even opponent candidates of different groups get more votes than the winner, but still they don’t wish to UNITE. If no remedial steps are taken, next Govt. will be of RSS/BJP in Punjab.
It will be much appreciated if joint meeting is called and try to muster Unity: Bhai Kulvir Singh Barapind, Daljit Singh Bittu, Manjit Singh Calcutta, Simranjit Singh Mann, Manpreet Singh Badal, Karnail Singh Peermohammed, Atinderpal Singh, Bhai Mohkam Singh, Bhai Baljit Singh Daduwal, Harpal Singh Cheema, Jaspal Singh Manjhpur, Prof. Jasjit Singh Tony, IAS Gurtej Singh, Rajinder Singh Khalsa Panchayat and others. At the same time, other Sikhs, who have been controlled by the Congress, RSS/BJP, Badal’s Punjabi Party should also be requested to disassociate from them and join the main stream of Sikhs’ Common Party with the cooperation of AAP & BSP.
With best wishes and Charhdi Kalaa,
Gurmit Singh (Sydney)
