It requires lot of time and space to comment on all this information. However, the message of Jathedar Gurbachan Singh is intriguing, when he says,"Sikhs are duty bound to accept the decrees From Akal Takhat Sahib." One should ask in that sense Jathedars must be bound much more to Respect the Supremacy of the Akal Takhat Sahib, and make decisions before any decrees that they are based on Gurbani Teachings, and not under any political pressures and must be finalised only after thorough investigation of the facts. The decrees of the recent past smack og Egoism of the Jathedars rather than Gurbani Teachings. Their decisions on a simple matter of Nanakshhi Calender of 2003 was very unfortunate. There are so many other decisions and decrees where one has to conclude
" APNEE PARTEET AAP HEE KHOVAI BAUHAUR US KEE PARTEET NA HOVAI....".
I have been telling them this for the past several years, but these Jathedars do not heed the warnings to behave accordance with Gurbani Principles.
Jathedars must understand that Akal Takhat Sahib is a Supreme Institution and not their property to announce silly dictates - NOT based on Gurbani Teachings.
