Re; Article : Concept of Jathedar and Akall Takht ?
Dear Khalsa Rajinder Singh jee,
Waheguru jee ka Khalsa Waheguru jee kee Fateh
I have already read your Article vide Websites: www.sikhmarg.com andwww.khalsanews.com
In addition to the comments below, I am of the view that there is no need to have FIVE TAKHTS
when the Sikh Nation does not have any Independent country since 29thMarch 1849. In fact, SGPC had passed Resolution on 9th March 1946 for the establishment of a separate Sikh State but it seems that no effort has been made by the SGPC for achieving it?
The Sikhs spread all over the world have One Sikh Scripture: “GURU GRANTH SAHIB”, which takes care of “Spiritual & Temporal” needs of the Sikhs without any other middle person. However, for the management of the Sikh Congregation Halls (Gurduara Sahib) and to resolve any problem, Sikhs should manage their own Regional Committees or Councils. I am sure that the elected Members of the SGPC could look after their Sikh Affairs without any Head Minister (s).
