NEW DELHI, India (May 9, 2015)—Centre government of India has asked the Delhi government to provide various kinds of facilities to Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted for probe into cases related to 1984 Sikh genocide.
In this regard, joint secretary of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) Rakesh Singh has written a letter to Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and demanded requisite staff and other basic facilities for the SIT.
It is worth mentioning that the SIT was constituted in February this year but its work is yet to be started.
