Sukhbir Badal Tells Prof. Bagundar To “Not Worry” About Sacha Sauda Issue

Sikh24 has learned from sources that Sukhbir Badal told Prof. Badungar to put aside the investigation for sometime so Delhi Gurdwara elections can pass by. Meanwhile, Akali Dal also deliberated upon imposing a ban on Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s movie in Punjab. Prof Badungar was directed by SGPC appointed Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh to probe the visit of Akali leaders to Sacha Sauda and provide list of all guilty leaders who visited the dera to seek its support.
Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee’s elections on slated to take place on February 26 and Akali Dal (Badal) leaders in Delhi are facing wrath of Sikh Sangat for taking support from Sacha Sauda before 2017 elections in Punjab.
Along with discussion on Sacha Sauda issue, the party leadership seriously deliberated upon the alleged misinformation being spread against the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal via social media and other sources.
As per internal sources, party president Sukhbir Badal has also directed the party candidates of assembly polls to provide list of ‘moles’ within the party who betrayed Shiromani Akal Dal in these assembly polls. It is being speculated that the party might weed out all these ‘moles’.
Meanwhile, Sukhbir Badal has ousted six party officials from Kharar who acted against the party candidate in assembly polls.
Several party officials were present in the meeting, including Ranjit Singh Brahmpura, Balwinder Singh Bhundarh, SGPC President Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar, Jathedar Tota Singh, Jagir Kaur, Upinderjit Kaur, Janmeja Singh Sekhon, Sewa Singh Sekhwan, Nirmal Singh Kahlon, Sikandar Singh Maluka, Maheshinder Singh Grewal, Charanjit Singh Atwal and Gulzar Singh Ranike were present in the meeting.
