US Congress Passes Resolution to Observe 100th Anniversary of Gadar Party
WASHINGTON, DC, USA (June 17, 2013)–US Congressmen Ami Bera and Mike Honda passed a resolution to observe the 100th Anniversary of the Gadar party. The resolution gave reference to members of the Gadar party who lost their lives while supporting the patriotic cause of the party.

The party was dissolved in 1948 due to its suppression by the British Government, but the party workers were successful in conducting revolutionary activities which were considered as a threat by the government.
The resolution passed on 12 June giving recognition to the party has been sent to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs for review.
