Is now the cow for its milk that rose rather than for beef?
Does here ‘cow’ means ‘innocent’ not an animal or the ‘innocent animals’ in the following context?
  Gandhi ji’s views about ‘Rama’ and ‘Cow’: So far I recollect and read in a book(s), Gandhi ji replied in response to a question regarding ‘Rama’ that earlier when he used to repeat ‘Rama’ many times, he meant ‘Rama’ as a man i.e. human being but at the end he realized that he is chanting and repeating the whole creation i.e. Universe, ultimate reality, God and having the highest spiritual knowledge.
  Similarly, Gandhi ji expressed his views about ‘Cow’ means ‘innocent’ not an animal
 I fully agree with Gandhi ji in the context of meaning of ‘Rama’ and ‘Cow’ although others may have different views and interpretation
Balbir Singh Sooch! Cow is mother: Gou Mata, the mother of all cows-innocents in India; let them decide whether Indians and cow are... for what for them?

    India has now registered more than 1 million total Covid-19 cases, even though authorities still claim there is no community transmission in the country. But the massive struggle involved in handling a pandemic, a migrant crisis and a resultant economic crash has not stopped Indian politicians from playing power games.

    Over the course of the pandemic, we’ve seen a change of guard in Madhya Pradesh (Congress government toppled by the Bharatiya Janata Party), turmoil in Maharashtra (BJP trying to unsettle the Shiv Sena-Nationalist Congress Party-Congress coalition), frantic negotiation in Manipur (Congress attempting to displace the BJP-led coalition) and now Rajasthan.
