Mann addresses supporters: Bhagwant Mann addressed supporters from the terrace of his house. He was accompanied by his mother, sister, and AAP leader Jarnail Singh.
His sister said she thanks the almighty and all Punjabis. "All Punjabis have won today because this was a fight of all Punjabis," she said.
Mann to take oath in Bhagat Singh's ancestral village: AAP's chief ministerial candidate Bhagwant Mann said he will take oath as Punjab CM in Bhagat Singh's ancestral village Khatkarkalan, and not in Raj Bhawan as has been the practice.
Meanwhile, Mann's mother broke down while addressing the crowd following his victory. In an emotional speech, she told his supporters that they all have to run Punjab together. "All of you (supporters) have to work," she said, before tearing up and hugging Mann.
13:59 (IST): 10 MAR 2022: There will be no photo of the CM in any government office in Punjab: AAP leader Bhagwant Mann thanked party leader Arvind Kejriwal for his support.
Mann said: 'I thank Arvind Kejriwal for spending 20 days here in a Punjab without taking a minute rest. His party is already ruling in Delhi and now we have come to power in Punjab. There will be no photo of the CM in any government office in Punjab. Only Dr Ambedkar's and Bhagat Singh's pictures shall be displayed in the government offices. When you say Inquilab Zindabad at the beginning and end of a lecture, the spirit of Bhagat Singh lives and it shows that his spirit is yet alive.'

Speaking about the swearing-in ceremony, Mann said: 'We shall take oath in Khatkar Kalan. We shall inform you all about the date. We shall seek shaheed Bhagat Singh's blessings. I thank the high command of AAP. There are some things that we can do better and Delhi can learn from us and vice versa. Our hospitals should be good. Our industries should provide employment. Our mothers and sisters should stay safe. We shall make a sports university in Jalandhar. Set up tracks and stadiums in almost all villages of Punjab.'

Will put Punjab back on the development track, says Mann
After he thanked the supporters for AAP's victory, leader Bhagwant Mann said that he will put Punjab back on the development track.
He said: There are so many youths from India in Ukraine. They have to spend so many lakhs to get a degree here in India while they get it for a few lakhs there in Ukraine. We shall put our house in order."
You have used the broom and fulfilled your responsibility, Mann said, in a reference to the party symbol.
He said: "It’s my turn to fulfil my responsibility now. Have faith in me. You will start seeing the difference within one month. We shall put Punjab back on the development track." After he thanked the supporters for AAP's victory, leader Bhagwant Mann said that he is most worried about the unemployment situation in the state.
He said: "My pen will be used for the very first day to end unemployment. We will take you out from the convoys of the leaders. Someone asked me: you have so many youths riding on bikes in front of you, how do you feel. I said I feel very bad, because this shows there are so many people unemployed following me on their bikes."
Addressing Punjab's rampant drug problem, Mann said: "We shall take out the injection of drugs from hands of the youth and give them employment."(Man Aman Singh Chhina reports): 13:50 (IST): 10 MAR 2022:

AAP leader Bhagwant Mann told his supporters that while the government used to be run from the palace earlier, it will now work from villages and cities.
He said: "You all have to work for Punjab. Earlier the government used to be run from the palace of siswan, now the govt will work from villages and cities. Punjab is yours. Vadde badal saab hara ditte, Capt saab haar gaye. (Badals and Capt sir lost). Sidhu and Majithia also lost. Kejriwal ji had already predicted and announced it."
He added: "We thank those who voted and also who didn’t vote for us. They shouldn’t think that we won’t work for them coz they didn’t vote for us. We shall work for the entire Punjab. Now it is upon us how we run Punjab."(Man Aman Singh Chhina reports): 13:46 (IST): 10 MAR 2022:
'Today, we forgive them': Mann on opposition's personal attacks: Speaking from the terrace of his house, AAP leader Bhagwant Mann told his supporters that they all have to serve Punjab together.
He said: "You must have seen how opposition parties there muck at us and targeted Arvind Kejriwal and me using personal comments and passed derogatory remarks. Today I want to tell them that the kind of language you used, you are welcome to it. You made personal comments about us and our families but people didn’t like that. Today, we forgive them but from now onwards they will have to respect 3 crore Punjabis. Our elders broke their shows, their beards went white while they were making rounds of govt offices but their works were not done. All these offices will come to your villages. We all have to serve Punjab together."
