American Sikh Council (ASC) representative Kavneet Singh along with other religious leaders, planned and organized a walk of peace, harmony and solidarity through the town of Upper Darby, PA on Friday March 28, 2025.
We know these are scary times for many in the immigrant communities. We see that people are afraid to go to work or shop or be seen in public. By visiting immigrant communities and supporting immigrant owned businesses, or businesses where many immigrants either work or shop, we wanted to demonstrate our support and be caring.

A dozen religious leaders who gathered, walked and interacted with the local community, came from the Jewish, Sikh and many Christian denominations. Some of the store owners in town sincerely appreciated the support and concern about their well-being in these demanding times.
