Leadership of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) and Sikh Youth Front expressed deep grief to victim family. General Secretary of Sikh Youth Front Bhai Papalpreet Singh said on this occasion that martyrdom of Bhai Jashjeet Singh had added a new episode in the long chain of State atrocities on Sikhs. “We have to sacrifice our lives to observe martyrdom of martyrs in Indian state, what can be worse than it for Sikhs in India?” he asked.
