NEW DELHI—Indian journalist Kuldip Nayar, who was renowned for his state embedded journalism, today died in the India’s national capital New Delhi. As per the available information, his dead body will be cremated in a crematorium situated on Delhi’s Lodhi road.
During his whole life, Kuldip Nayar kept on writing against the struggle for Sikhs rights and acted by tooth & nail to promote state’s propaganda against Sikh struggle.
In September-2017, he had hurt Sikh sentiments by comparing the great Sikh of 20th century Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale with rape convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim. Later, the SGPC had withdrawn the ‘Shiromani Journalist’ award conferred to him in 2006 amid sharp criticism by the Sikh masses.
