AAP Rebel Leaders to Take Out Protest March Wearing Black Turbans and Dupattas on October 7

22 Sep 2018 08:43 AM PDTCHANDIGARH, Punjab—In a meeting held at Chandigarh on September 21, the AAP faction headed by Sukhpal Singh Khaira announced to take out a protest march named ‘Insaaf March’ on October 7 in protest of Punjab government’s failure to punish the police cops guilty of opening an unprovoked firing on protesting Sikhs at Kotkapura and Behbal Klan in October-2015. This meeting was called by the AAP rebel legislator Sukhpal Singh Khaira in which Parliamentarian Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi and representatives of several Sikh outfits also took part beside the legislators of Khaira faction.
“It was decided that the people would participate in the protest march wearing black turbans and black dupattas to mount pressure on the government to act against the guilty,” Khaira told media.

During the meeting, the leaders discussed and pressed for action against the accused of Behbal Kalan and Kotkapura firing incidents and the sacrilege cases. The meeting also decided to set up 11-member Action Committee to decide upon future course of action.
“We have decided to mount pressure on the Capt Amarinder Singh Government to take action against the culprits of sacrilege cases at the earliest,” said Khaira while demanding that the cases of firing incident and sacrilege be resolved promptly.
Seven resolutions were unanimously passed in this meeting by the participating leaders of various religious and political outfits.
MLA Kanwar Sandhu, Master Baldev Singh, S. Pirmal Singh Khalsa, S. Jagdev Singh Kmalu, S. Jagtar Singh Jagga, S. Jai Singh Roorhi, LIP’s MLA S. Balwinder Singh Bains, S. Simarjit Singh Bains, AISSF (Bhoma) president S. Manjit Singh Bhoma, S. Sarabjit Singh Jammu, Advocate Khushdeep Singh Tiwana, S. Satnam Singh Behru, Prof. Manjit Singh, S. harmeet Singh Qadian, S. jagjit Singh Sidhupur, UAD’s General Secretary S. Gurdeep Singh Bathinda, IAS (Retd.) Kulbir Singh, Bir Davinder Singh and several other leaders were present in this meeting.
