Sharing the development with media, the PSGPC informed that one side of the coin will have a picture of Gurdwara Asthan Nankana Sahib while on the other side the word “Islamic Republic of Pakistan” will be inscribed along with numeric figure “550”.
The postal stamp, which will be of Rupees 8 and could be used in the normal routine, will also have the picture of Nankana Sahib and numeric figure “550” denoting the five and half centenary birthday celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Ji.
The PSGPC has also expressed satisfaction over the preparations being made by the Evacuee Trust Property Board.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that a tent city will be setup in Nankana Sahib to accommodate around 25,000 Sikh pilgrims expected to arrive in Pakistan from all over the world during the 550th birthday celebrations.
