Channi announces to plant 550 saplings in every polytechnic and industrial education institution of Punjab
Posted: 28 Jun 2019 07:39 AM PDTCHANDIGARH, Punjab—The Punjab cabinet minister Charanjit Channi, who heads the Technical Education and Industrial Training Ministry, today announced to plant 550 saplings in every polytechnic and industrial education institution of Punjab to commemorate the 550^th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Ji. He has said that the staff and students of these institutions will have to look after these plants.
In a meeting held at head office of Technical Education Department today, Channi issued directions to all the technical and industrial training institutions to celebrate the first half of August month for the purity of the environment. Beside it, Channi also deliberated about the betterment of these institutions with their respective principals and senior faculty members in this meeting.
