This is first ever English audio recording of Sri Guru Granth Sahib which the devotees would be able access online.
The Sikh Dharma International is a non-profit organization which aims to serve and uplift humanity through the universal teachings of the great Sikh masters.
This audio recording is based on the translation work of Sant Singh Khalsa which is said to be the most understandable translation in today’s era for the non-Punjabi listeners aspirant of getting blessed with the spiritual wisdom of Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
People can access it on their desktop or mobile device by downloading the free SikhNet Gurbani Media Center app. The recording is also available on the SikhNet Radio Channel, which streams constantly, at no charge, SDI said.
“The free-of-cost version available on Sikhnet.com is chapter-wise. Cost for the full version is $17.99 on Amazon, $14.95 on Google Play and $16.99 on Apple iTunes,” the organization said.                                                                 It added that the work is the result of 10 years of projecting, praying, planning, and recording.

Comment:-  It can't solve the purpose of Guru Nank,s Philosophy.   today there are hundreds meanings of a Single SHABAD in Punjabi by various Preachers.  Until Sikhs settle with a Unique Meaning, nothing can be done by these means.                                 Amar Jit Singh Chandi
