NIA gets production warrants of arrested Sikh youths for July 22
Posted: 20 Jul 2019 08:10 PM PDTCHANDIGARH, Punjab—On July 18, a Mohali based special NIA court issued production warrants of four Sikh youths namely Ravinderjit Singh, Jagdev Singh, Harcharan Singh and Nishan Singh for July 22.
It is noteworthy here that Bhai Ravinderjit Singh and Bhai Jagdev Singh were arrested by the state’s special operation cell, Amritsar in an FIR No. 5 registered under the Arms act, sections 3, 4 and 5 of the Explosive Substances (Amendment) Act 2001, sections 17, 18, 18-B and 20 Unlawful Activities Prevention Act against Ravinderpal Singh, Jagdev Singh and Kulwinder Singh Khanpuria on May 30 this year.
Recently, the investigation of this case has been transferred to the National Investigation Agency.
