He has said that Amit Shah has depicted narrow mindedness while being on a prominent constitutional post by giving such an irresponsible statement which is totally against the spirit of Indian constitution.
Citing the article 29 of the Indian constitution, Dhumma has said that the Indian society is a multi-cultural and multi-linguistic society so every culture and language deserves should be respected.
On September 14, the Indian Home Minister Amit Shah had given a call to make Hindi, the unifying language of India, by taking it to every individual and home and using it in every aspect of life. However, he had immediately come under fire for his statement sledgehammering people’s right to speak and preach their mother tongue.
