Dear Brother, How's your blood pressure these days? Hope it is stable, and under control. Your must have done enough reading on it ,and I am confident you will be able to keep a check on it. Life is never a bed of roses; though for some it is more a bed of thorns. IF that is the will of the WAHEGURU one has to face it------" Duniya meh ayehe to jina he par dega. Jiwan meh hai hagar zahar to pinahi par dega", As regards Sampath paath could you enlighten me on it----- Is this paath in the Granth and why is it linked to evil prayer by some/why do it/when should it be done. I know our granth has all kind of prayers(Banees) which are useful for everyone. kor All the best taalk with you soon

Dear Brother,
Thank you very much for your concern> I hope that you are fine too.
My blood pressure is better and hope that you are good too. I am leaving for
How is Jeetey coping now ? Hope that is better.
As regards, Sampath Paath, I have not done it, neither is it in the Sikh Maryada.
From the discussion on this web site , I gather
that http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?/topic/22565-sampath-path/
it is some sort of ritual introduced by the fake "Gurus, Sants" etc). If you read it says that "A shabad is taken and what happens is the Guru Granth Sahib Ji is read and in between each line the shabad is recited."
Another one questions this "Where does the Akal Takht Rehat Maryada state to do sampat paath? The answer is nowhere and you will not find any reference at all in Sikh History. This is a design of babas and deras sants, similar to what;s been happenning for centuries in the hindu religion where the brahmins practice sampat of geeta etc. the dera vale have taken this practice on to SGGS. I have nothing against it they can carry on doing it but what I don't understand is where does it say from our Sikh history to do this?? "
This means that the reading of Gurbani is interrupted by one "silly" Shabd. If you read Gurbani this way, I call it ritualistic as you lose the essence and meaning of the Gurbani you are reading as your thought cycle gets broken.
I will not subscribe to this. Are you planning to have one done ?
Love,
Mukhtiar
