Humble Suggestions:
1. The Gurdwara Elections under the Guidance of Political Parties will solve no Purpose. Learned Sikh, Sardar Amar Jit Singh Chandi religiously, very rightly critically commented in brief.: http://www.thekhalsa.org/
2. “On SGPC’s 100th foundation anniversary, Sikh intellectuals call for neutralizing political influence” as reported and it seems the gathering was mainly on the subject, ‘Liberate SGPC like the Sikhs had to liberate Gurdwaras from Mahants’. http://www.thekhalsa.org/
3. First of all, the whole exercise may prove futile-useless without the honest backing of the centre and some or hidden powers-central agencies, otherwise the exercise would prove insincere-dishonest like the Mahants replacing with another Mahants in the SGPC. Isn’t?
4. Secondly, the Sikh Vichar Manch, Balbir Singh Sooch may be wrong to observe, but, without any ill will- animosity or bitterness against anyone that the gathering in this seminar of the Sikh intellectuals and the politicians was like “old wine in a new bottle” or "old wine in new bottles" and could be noticed the contradictions in the speeches of the Sikh intellectuals from each other and that’s the pointer about their background history like respected Sardar Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa etc.
5. Such pointed out drawbacks are likely to backfire as some people prefer the old wine without bothering about the old or the new bottles. Isn’t?
6. But simple persons like me, Balbir Singh Sooch- Sikh Vichar Manch, lacking intellectuality like of the Sikh intellectuals and the politicians required wish reforms in the SGPC as well in the spoiled system of India.
