NEW DELHI (July 26, 2015)—Strongly condemning Punjab Police’s forceful break-in at Bapu Surat Singh’s house at Hassanpur and arrests of youth present there, Babbar Khalsa Chief Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara has said that Government shouldn’t forget that Sikhs have a history of punishing oppressive regimes.  He said besides being saints, Sikhs are also warriors.
Appreciating the patience and sacrifice of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa, Bhai Hawara appealed the Sikh masses to unite on a common platform to give his struggle a peak touch.
He appealed all the Sikh bodies to fight as do or die in this struggle. He said that Sikh community should know that the Government might attempt to divert the attention of the Panth by raising a new issue.
Bhai Hawara sent his message through his sister Manpreet Kaur who met him recently in jail.
