Jathedar Hawara’s backpain intensifies; Jail authorities refuse treatment

NEW DELHI—Sarbat Khalsa appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara’s back pain has been intensified to such an extent that he is not able to sit without pain.  The Tihar Jail authorities are however still denying treatment to him.
Notably, Jathedar Hawara is being confined in Tihar Jail of New Delhi despite him being acquitted in all the cases pertaining to Delhi.
Speaking to Sikh24, Jathedar Hawara’s legal counsel Advocate Amar Singh Chahal informed that Jathedar Hawara’s condition is worsening day by day due to injury in spinal cord caused by endurance of inhuman Police torture. He added that the Tihar Jail authorities were not serious to facilitate medical treatment to Jathedar Hawara.
Advocate Amar Singh Chahal further informed that even the Indian Judiciary was portraying biased approach toward Jathedar Hawara. He added that despite of submission of Bhai Hawara’s medical reports, the Court has fixed December 6 to conduct hearing on petition for his medical check up.
