Poll: Trump disapproval rating jumps amid Gold Star widow controversy
AOL.com editors President Trump's disapproval rating saw a bump on Monday as controversy continued over his call to a Gold Star widow.
According to the daily presidential tracking poll from Rasmussen Reports, Trump has a 41 percent total approval rating and 58 percent total disapproval rating. This latest disapproval figure is Trump's highest since August 31.
Trump had seen relatively steady approval ratings within the 41 to 39 percent realm in these early weeks of fall, but reports that first broke late last week surrounding his call to widow Myeshia Johnson may be causing his numbers to dip.
